In order to brew our first-class beer, we exclusively use high-quality Bavarian raw materials and allow our specialty beers plenty of time to develop their taste and flavor.
The tradition of the monks brewing art is alive and well at Andechs even today. Every year approximately 90.000 hectoliters (18 million half-liters) of beer are brewed at the foot of the Holy Mountain. About 10% of this is served on the Holy Mountain in the Bräustüberl and the Klostergasthof. Andechs`s "barley juice" is not only sold throughout Germany but is also marketed in many other European countries.
