The St Bernardus brewery was given the authority to use the Saint Sixtus Abbey name by the monks of Westvleteren. The brewery and the Abbey are closely situated. The monks later chose to reclaim the name. The brewery then had to change its name to St Bernardus. There are four styles to the range.
