Woodforde’s Norfolk Nip (8.5%) - an occasional brew
This rare and much sought-after high quality Barley Wine has been brewed by Woodforde's just once a year since 1992, and is based on the original Steward & Patteson recipe of 1929. It is considered suitable for
laying-down for two or more years, and is recommended for
special occasions.
TASTING NOTES:
A dark, strong beer, of a type that was once widely brewed in England. The roast malts used give it a complex flavour which is carefully balanced by a light use of hops, and a slight sweetness.
