Hapkin has very hoppy and strong in alcohol (8.5%). Its bitter taste is refined and pronounced. A dry note of hops and malt. Very pleasent bitterness. The glass allows the extraordinary and unforgettable aroma the escape from the very first sip.
This Belgian blond beer owes its name to the terrifying Boudewijn Hapkin. This Lord of Flanders who lived in the XII th century was known for its immoderate taste of hatchet fights. That also explain why you will find an hatchet fight on the label of this warlike blond beer.
