This is the largest Trappist beer producer. The three beers are named after the town a small distance from the Abbey.
Chimay Blue is the strongest at 9%. This dark coloured beer has a rich, spicey flavour. These dark beers are spicey but this Chimay has spices added in its production.
Chimay Red is 7% by volume. Dark, slightly bitter with a pleasent sourness.
Chimay White is 8% by volume. A strong, slightly sweet, amber ale.
